As an ASR 9000v platform, the Cisco A9KV-V2-DC-A= operates as an extension shelf of an ASR 9000 Series host router. It enables the ASR 9000 distributed control plane to extend features and services to the network edge. The DC-A model uses -48V DC power with ANSI connectors.
